Typo or charset conversion issue:

"Martin Norbck" should be "Martin Norbäck".

As you can see, that doesn't help me much. Can you fix it directly?

Sure, but you have to unlock it first.

I'm reading through the PDF version of the book that I've printed out. It has a heading for fu'ivla, then a page or so later switches to calling them le'avla. A quick search of the wiki revealed that le'avla is apparently the newer and more preferred term, and should therefore be the only one used to describe loanwords in the pamphlet. I'd fix this myself, but for my lack of Acrobat; would someone who's properly equipped please do a find-and-replace, and re-upload?

Vice versa. Le'avla is the older and dispreferred term.

It was dreary and wearisome. Cold clammy winter still held way in this
forsaken country. The only green was the scum of livid weed on the dark
greasy surfaces of the sullen waters. Dead grasses and rotting reeds loomed
up in the mists like ragged shadows of long-forgotten summers.

Uhh... yeah, I read this wrong. Thanks.

Anyway, could someone please fix it, or else direct me to some free software that will allow me to do it myself?

The source is here:

Good luck; I asked him not to use DocBook. :-(

That page seemed to contain the source for the Lojban for Beginners lessons, but not for the What is Lojban? pamphlet.

Why does the board keep removing line breaks in quoted text?

Or http://lojban.org/publications/level0/lojban.level0.zip at the
bottom of the page.

Turns out that what I had was the PDF of just the grammar section of the book, made available on the Lojban for Beginners page. The problems with that pamphlet could be easily fixed by instead printing out the grammar section from the whole thing.

Nevermind.
