I've taken on the task of ensuring that the Home Page
of the lojban website stays fresh and up-to-date.
There's nothing worse for someone who has just got
interested in lojban to encounter a home page that
looks abandoned.

In particular, for the website to look fresh, news clips
need to be placed there no less than approx once a
month (my judgement, based on some years of working
on commercial websites).

So I would like to encourage you to place newsworthy items
there.  Example: completed significant translations,
people stories, reviews of lojban by third parties etc.

So, if you do finish a translation, or have recently finished one,
or anything leasi you deem newsworthy,
please put news of it there - or let me know so I can do it.

Indeed - that can be rather discouraging.

Does the tiki software have enough flexibility to show some external feeds?

Until not long ago it included the livejournal community. Now it only includes
the "community activity" feed from jbotcan.
