But it does:

| LAU_559 lerfu_word_987
| TEI_605 lerfu_string_root_986 FOI_533
LAU takes a lerfu word. A lerfu word can be a BY (which includes
word-bu) but it can also be a tei-foi string. It could also be another
lau-modified lerfu word, so we could have {lau lau by}, whatever it may
mean.
