They are structures actually, even if not very major ones.
ek can be as complicated as {nase.unai} for example.

But I think {joik-ek} is the structure we want SA to recognize:
any term connective should be able to replace any other.
Also, all the (ek / joik) in the grammar should be replaced by
joik-ek, and the same for (jek / joik) and joik-jek
